Remember that this month is the last chance to show your PhD quilts. Be sure to visit the Programs table afterwards to check off your quilt and give us the dimensions.
This fall, we’ll have pop-up shops in September, with details in the June newsletter, and in October, Carola Russel of Carola’s Quilt Shop will talk about using the latest, greatest tool for free-motion machine quilting: rulers, but not the kind you measure and cut with. See her blog for more details: http://www.carolasquiltshop.wordpress.com. There will also be a rulers workshop with Carola in November.

JUNE
June Social
June isn’t only our summer social, but a chance to celebrate our Guild’s 30 years of quilting. To keep things light, there will be chiffon and angel food cakes with fruit and whipped cream. We still need people to volunteer to bring cakes and fruit, so please sign up at the Program’s table. It’s all in a good cause – us!
Besides food, we’ll have the prizes for the PhD quilts. Two hundred and eighty-six were registered, so you just know there will be lots of big prizes! For Show and Tell, bring your special quilts, first quilt, worst quilt, happiest quilt, best loved quilt, etc. Tell us your stories. We’ll also have a fun activity and lots of door prizes.
