Members purchased 68 packets of glass. Twenty nine members entered their pincushions in the contest. A few more delivered completed pincushions in time for the silent auction.

The profit for this challenge was just over $300.00. The workshop committee can shop for things to enhance our workshop experience.

Several people asked where to get the glass. It was purchased from Manus Abrasive Systems Inc., in Coquitlam. Be warned: you have to buy a 50 lb. bag! For the challenge, a 50 lb. bag made 34, two cup bags of medium grind glass.
