Our show was a resounding success! We welcomed 1155 guests to view the work of our members and based on comments received they did not go away disappointed.

What an excellent Quilt Show! Magnificent display, good vendors and so much warmth and friendless… Good fun…..and so well organized! You are to be recognized for such a wonderful 2 days of inspiration! Thank you.

Just wanted to let you all know how much I enjoyed your show. There was a welcoming atmosphere the minute one stepped through the door. There was someone to answer questions at every turn, with a pleasant manner. The quilts were fabulous, well displayed and an inspiration for some of us that tend to get bogged down with lack of imagination. Compliments to those in charge of signage as well. We came from Richmond, so were very grateful for the arrows that had us there without a hitch. So many times we complain, letting everyone know we haven’t had a good time. But how many times do we take the time out to throw a bouquet for a job well done. So this is my bouquet, ladies. I will look forward to your next show in 2016? I know that it will be most enjoyable. Thank you for a great show, super inspiration and for sharing your talents with those of us less blessed.

We will have a wrap up at our June meeting but I would be remiss if I did not thank all of the members of my committee for their dedication to making our show the best it could be. Carol Piercy, Krista Hennebury, Karen Munro, Linda Heese, Trudy Jaskela, Andrea Cowie, Leslie Forbes, Vicki Digby, Rebecca Skiffington, Jo Ann Lee and Barbara Brawn. The following members must also be thanked for assisting committee members and being at the show full time from start to finish Paula Bohan, Myra Frampton, Kathryn Gillis, Judy Greenwood and Helen Jorgensen.

Of course the show would not have been possible without your participation. To the 92 quilters who entered 216 beautiful quilts, to the 27 members who created items for our boutique and to everyone who volunteered their time to meet and greet and serve our guests, THANK YOU!

The Sportsplex has been booked for our 2016 show so let’s go quilt!
