Come join us at our annual Community Quilts Workshop:

When: Friday March 2, 9:30am -4pm and Saturday, March 3, 9:30am -3pm
Where: St Andrews & St Stephen’s Church (2641 Chesterfield Avenue, North Vancouver)

Volunteers are needed to help set up on Thursday (9:30am-4pm) and do some cutting so that people can sew on Friday and Saturday. Also needed is a helper to take the sandwich orders from the people who would rather not bring a lunch on Friday and Saturday, as well as someone to make coffee and tea on both days.

We supply quilts to the Hospitals, and shelters on the North Shore. Working on a quilt in this workshop allows you to work without the costs of fabric, since we supply the fabric and the patterns, and to practice quilting. You also get a chance to meet other guild members and have all the help you need to learn what you need to know. If you like to cook, we would love to taste your baking.
