Thank you to everyone who participated in the Education section, doing demos, providing display material and volunteering. I heard from many of you and from Dianne and others how much the visitors enjoyed our area. It worked out well that people had to walk through the displays before getting to the gallery. Some people liked to just look at the displays, others came to the demos, and some did both. And then there was the rest of the show – the gallery, the boutique, tearoom, memorial area, and merchants – all so well done. The new venue was great. I am sure we handed out over 300 mug rug kits over the two days and all the thread cutters. I hope that leads to a few future quilters getting started sooner than later.
We had so many posters prepared for previous shows, which were not used because of space available. A lot of work went into them, and I plan to take high resolution photos of them and post to the website, so others can have the benefit of the educational material.
